The invitations are out and the replies are coming in. Your people are coming. Now you just need to let everyone know where to go, when dinner is and whether it's safe to wear the good shoes.
You write in the group chat. But not every guest is in it. Someone gets a text, someone else a phone call, and then the time changes. You're answering the same question for the third time when you remember you still have to find your own good shoes.
It helps to point everyone to the same place.
Information for guests, before and after the party
In Melda you can publish posts on your event page. A warm hello, the schedule, directions to the parking or a photo of the entrance that's a little hard to find. Guests open their own guest link and read what you've shared.
That way a wedding website can hold everything your wedding guests need, from the first excitement to the photos the morning after. The same goes for a birthday, a christening or the company party. The invitation goes out, but the conversation carries on.
Questions and answers on the same post
Guests can comment and react to your posts. A question about the bus gets its answer under the bus details. A small heart on the photo of the venue says something too.
You can share photos and videos, or add a poll for your guests when you want their opinion. Everything stays with the event you're about to share.
Try the post below. Add a reaction or write a comment. It's only a demo.

The big day is almost here! A few notes: the ceremony starts at 4pm sharp, there's plenty of parking behind the venue, and dinner is served at 6. Swimwear for the hot tubs later if you're brave. Can't wait to celebrate with you all.

What time should we aim to arrive to be safe?
Start with a short hello
Open your event in Melda and choose "Create Post". Tell your guests what's coming up and add a photo if you like. Then share new details as the day gets closer.
After the party you can send a thank-you and share a few good photos in the same place. For photos and messages on a screen during the party, there's also Melda's photo wall.
Create an event in Melda and give your guests one place to keep up. When people know where to go and what to expect, it's easier to relax. Then the looking forward gets its room.
