Replace Your Inquiry Form With a Real Booking Engine

Put a booking engine for your party venues and meeting rooms on your site with one line of code — guests book without ever leaving the page.

A venue host works at a laptop at a reception desk, a dressed hall with string lights softly blurred behind.

It's Thursday, and your inbox is full of the same message: "Hi, do you have anything free on March 14th?" — "What does the hall cost for 60 people?" — "Is there a weekend open in April?" You answer each one, send a price and photos, and ... you wait. Half of them never reply. And meanwhile last Friday night sat empty, because the guest who meant to book never made it through all the back-and-forth and found somewhere else instead.

The problem isn't that people don't want to book with you. The problem is they have to leave your website, find an email address, write a message or fill in some vague form and wait for an answer — and customers drop off at every step.

What you want is for the guest who's already on your page to see what's open and send a request on the spot, before they have a chance to change their mind. Don't spend money on marketing that ends with the guest deciding not to message you at all.

A booking engine for venues, right on your own website

Melda has a booking engine for party venues that you paste straight into your own website. One line of code. Simple and effective. It works for every kind of space you rent out. The guest picks a date, sees what's open, and sends a booking request without leaving your site and without having to create a Melda account.

You get three versions, and you pick the one that fits your design:

  • An inline calendar that sits inside the page. The guest sees open dates and books in the context of what's already on your site.
  • A "Book now" button that opens the booking engine in a window on top of the page. More focus on the booking itself.
  • A popup from any element you like. Attach the booking to a button, an image, or a link that's already on your site.

A small ~3KB JavaScript pulls in the Melda interface carrying your colors and your name. The guest feels like they're still on your site, because they are. The booking engine is simply embedded into your page, while it reads from Melda's database and uses all the business logic you've already set up in the flexible booking system.

The same booking flow, dressed in your brand

The flow the guest goes through is exactly the same as on Melda itself, just with your brand. They see which nights are open across your venues, pick one, fill in the details, and send a clear, well-prepared booking request.

One thing to be clear about: the booking engine takes requests, not confirmed bookings. The guest doesn't pay on the spot through the window. The request lands with you, and you approve, decline, or counter-offer. Exactly as you do now, except the conversation is organized, the customer knows which nights you have open, and you're at the wheel.

The booking engine's whole job is to help the guest while they're on the page and thinking about it.

Every request lands in the same place

You don't need a new inbox or a new system. Every request from the booking engine drops into the same booking inbox, no matter which channel the inquiry came from. You can sort the bookings by where they came from. You manage them all in one place, whether the guest found you on the Melda marketplace or straight off your own website.

The guest doesn't need a Melda account to manage their booking. They get a link that lets them view it, answer questions, change it, or cancel — and they can create a Melda account anytime for even more control. The point is that anyone can book your venue. There are no brakes.

See which marketing actually brought the booking

Every request that comes in through the booking engine carries UTM tags that tell you where the guest originally came from. If you run an ad campaign, a newsletter, or an Instagram post, you see which channel produced a real booking on your hall. You stop guessing at what works and start putting money where it brings bookings.

You keep full control. And you can share the work with everyone who handles bookings. The whole conversation history with your customers in one place.

Start with your own venues

Whether you rent out party venues for big birthdays, meeting rooms for working groups, or conference rooms for events, the idea is the same: let the guest book on your home turf. One line of code, your colors, your brand — and the requests come straight to you.
